כִּ֤י אִם־עֲוֺנֹֽתֵיכֶם֙ הָי֣וּ מַבְדִּלִ֔ים בֵּינֵכֶ֕ם לְבֵ֖ין אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֑ם וְחַטֹּֽאותֵיכֶ֗ם הִסְתִּ֧ירוּ פָנִ֛ים מִכֶּ֖ם מִשְּׁמֽוֹעַ׃

Sondern eure Missetaten machten eine Scheidung zwischen euch und eurem Gotte, und eure Sünden haben sein Antlitz verhüllt vor euch, dass er nicht [auf euer Flehen] hörte.
